Diablo players spread a rumor that clicking a cow enough times opened a secret level. It was completely false. Blizzard loved it so much they built the Secret Cow Level for real in the expansion — a field of bipedal, sword-wielding cows. The community willed an easter egg into being.

How to find it

In Act I with Wirt's Leg and a Tome of Town Portal, transmute them in the Horadric Cube to open a red portal.
